This website is operated by Roguepepz L.L.C, a California limited liability company, trading as ROGUEPEPZ. Your privacy is our priority. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you interact with our website or purchase research products from us.

Information We Collect

When you visit or place an order on our website, we may collect the following information:

Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses.
Payment Details: Processed securely via third-party gateways. We do not store your payment information.
Researcher Attestation: Because we supply research materials, we are required to record that each buyer has confirmed their age and intended use. When you create an account or place an order we collect your date of birth, the research role you select, the statements you confirm, and an electronic signature — either drawn or typed. We store these together with the exact wording you agreed to and the date you agreed to it.
Technical Data: IP address, device type, browser, and activity on our site—collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

Process and deliver your orders efficiently
Provide order confirmations, updates, and customer support
Send promotional emails only if you opt in
Improve our website performance and user experience
Keep a record that each buyer confirmed their age and that the materials are for laboratory research only. We use this solely to evidence that confirmation. It is not used for marketing, not used to profile you, and not shared with anyone except where the law requires it
Monitor for fraud and ensure site security

We never sell or rent your personal data. However, we may share necessary information with:

Trusted third-party partners for payment processing, shipping, analytics, and email communication
Regulatory or legal authorities if required by law or to protect our rights and safety

Cookies & Tracking

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Rather than leave that vague, here is what actually runs on this site and what each one is for:

Essential. WooCommerce sets cookies that remember what is in your cart and carry your session through checkout. Our age and researcher gate sets a cookie recording that you have passed it. Without these the site cannot take an order.
Payment security. Stripe, our card processor, sets cookies on checkout pages to detect fraud. Stripe handles this on our instructions and under contract.
Analytics. Jetpack Stats records visitor numbers and which pages are read, so we can see what is useful. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
Email. Klaviyo, our email provider, records which products you look at so that, if you have subscribed, what we send you is relevant. It is used only for our own emails to you.
Performance. Optimole delivers our images and our page cache stores copies of pages so they load faster. Neither identifies you.

We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on this site. No advertising network receives your browsing activity from us. If that ever changes, this section will be updated to name what was added before it goes live.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings, but checkout will not work without the essential ones.

Data Security

ROGUEPEPZ implements strong technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

How Long We Keep Your Data

We keep order and account records for as long as needed to fulfil your order, provide support, and meet our tax and record-keeping obligations — generally seven years from the date of the order. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe. Technical and analytics data is retained in aggregate form only. Researcher attestations — the date of birth, declared role, confirmed statements and signature — are kept alongside the order they belong to, for the same seven-year period. They are kept that long precisely because their purpose is to evidence what was declared at the time of that order; a record deleted early would not be able to do that. Records outside these periods are deleted or anonymised.

Your California Privacy Rights

ROGUEPEPZ is based in California. If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to:

Know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, and who we shared it with
Delete the personal information we hold, subject to records we are legally required to keep
Correct inaccurate personal information
Opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information
Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising — which is the specific thing the CPRA uses the word “share” to mean. We have done neither in the preceding twelve months. The companies named in section 4 handle data as our service providers, under contract and on our instructions, which the Act does not treat as a sale or a share. To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We will verify your identity using the details associated with your orders and respond within 45 days.

Children’s Privacy

This website is intended for qualified researchers aged 21 or over, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 21. Every buyer confirms their date of birth before an order can be placed. If you believe someone under 21 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
